I fell in love with scooters in 1983. I was in the army in Germany and everyone was riding Vespas overseas. I bought my 1st scooter, it was a Vespa 1982 150E.  I have always been a big man - looking like a circus bear on a small bike. I just love the feeling you only get while riding on a scooter ...My Vespa took me all over Germany’s back roads.  And yes, I did take it on the Autobahn - where there's no speed limit. While I was driving at 70 mph, PEOPLE WOULD BLOW PAST YOU! I brought my Vespa back to the USA and kept it in front on my house, mainly for my parking space saver. Living in the city, it’s rough finding a parking space. I kept my Vespa for 21 yrs of great riding. Then I bought an ApriliaAtlantic 500 in May 2003 and sold it June 2007. Now I ride a 2003 Suzuki 650 Burgman. I'm still a big man still feeling like that

damn circus bear on my 650 Burgman, but I love the way people look at you and unlike motorcycles, cops don't mess with scooters.  They don't think a scooter can go over 100 MPH! See you on the road…
