I came to scooting late in life.  After a failed attempt at getting a pilot’s license (I’ll tell you that story over a beer), I needed an outlet.  My wife suggested that I get a scooter.  She even found my first one.

My first scoot was a 1984 Honda Helix; I put several miles on it through the wonderful Tennessee valley.  Then in 2005 I took a job here in PA.  Not thinking I could take the scoot on the moving truck, I sold it and decided to get something new.  Currently I have a ’04 Suzuki Burgman. I stumbled across TMI on the internet while looking for other scooterists and the ride since then has been excellent.  PA has some very great “WOW” vistas out there,  sometimes a good guide is all you need.
