Being a disabled veteran, I found I could no longer participate in many of the hobbies I had enjoyed. So I bought my first scooter, a Yamaha Vino. The first time I rode it I was hooked. The following year I bought a 2003 Stella from from a member of TMISC (Lemmy) and took the safety course. With my motorcycle permit I felt a joy that was long overdue. I still live in Dundalk, Md., where i grew up, and I have no intentions of staying here. My good friends at the Three Mile Island Scooter Club slowly lured me out of my self-imposed isolation and back to the zany character I was always meant to be.
Someone wrote..."Lifes journey is not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body, but rather to skid into it sideways, totally worn out, shouting 'Holy Shit, what a ride'".
I ease my own pains by my scootering travels and the wonderful friends I meet, and have yet to meet, and of course with my scooter family at Three Mile Island Scooter Club.Now..........PARTY ON!!!!!!
